Collapse SubdiscussionShantaye Riley Hello professor and class. My name is Shantaye Riley and I have a story and testimony to tell about me and it never gets old to me . I have children that I gave birth to however I have raised over 30 children in 21 years that didn't belong to me by blood but they all stole my heart. See 21 years ago i had my first child , doctors gave u on me but God didn't . They called my family in 3 times (different occasions)to let them know I wouldn't make it through the night then they told them that I would never live to see 25 and wouldnt have any other children. well i got pregnant again 3 years later and drs discussed that I would never live through this pregnancy and they said I should probably have an abortion well i scheduled it and cried and prayed the entire way...I didn't want to leave m daughter in the messed up world alone ! When I arrived I got there late which means I would have to reschedule...til this day I do not know why I didn't reschedule but I am so glad that I didn't ! both of my babies are healthy and still socking the world . all the things that happened to me couldn't be by pure chance I wasn't left here by accident I am here to make a difference and I will not stop until I have done just that. I use my house as a safe place for all children that have no parents to care and give them the love they need. my family and I give them a voice ...my mission it to one day save the world from children being taken advantage of from children being neglected and from children going to school only to eat because they don't have food at home and parents with drug problems leaving those children alone ...as long as I live these children will have me . Everyone ask how and why we do it ...my response is i feel like its my purpose . I look forward to this class and learning new things and I look forward to working with you all !!! Have a great Day !!Michael Bryant Shantaye, welcome to JADM110. What a great testimony! I agree you have a purpose in this life! Keep on keeping on!
