However, there were checkpoints for detectives, undercover police (which I am not), etc. and the checkpoints are similar to Amazon.com and Ebay dropoff centers who work together with FedEx Courier Services, etc.
My dropoff point was a strip joint (small hole in the wall) where Italian cops, White cops, and Others would check in. This was located near Lake Sam (where the yachts park) and the mansions reside.
I was the 'Office Clerk' who received the cash working together with the local fire department, checked the schedule to see which 'girls' (private dancers) were on duty 'today' (back then over 20 years ago) and one of the girls was a married wife to an active duty US Navy Officer. She drove a little Ford pickup truck and unfortunately, just as his (her military husband) had a unique job to do, she as well had duties to tackle. It's life, it's crime, it's justice, it's SOCIETY and the demand is supplied only because of the actions of people who never sleep.
Most of the 'dancers' were moms accept me as I was only barely 18 years of age.
The policeman in charge was a Black and Dominican man who's partner was a White Blonde lady, our boss.
There was also a space ordinance whereas during the dance no one was allowed to touch the working ladies once they were locked inside the private rooms and spy mirrors with streaming police cameras were installed.
The building was unmarked with hidden parking for customers. The workers inside the building were receiving customers from a different group of people soliciting clients in the field: those are called 'quick moves'. All 'dancers' were required to remain fully dressed at all times to a certain extent. I personally, wore a long velvet short sleeve black dress with heels in which I acquired from a trip in New York City, New York.
